"2 years ago I received a wonderful Birthday present from my mother, a proud peacock painting from the collection of Julia Scherer. The attention to detail on the body And feathers combined with the excusite color scheme and the sense that such a beautiful person (as Julia is) created this centerpiece for my bedroom truly completes the atmosphere in my "nest". "A couple of years ago, I was so thrilled to learn that I’d won my choice of one of Julia’s beautiful pieces of artwork in a blogged Sponsor give-away. I chose ‘Mama and her Sponge’, which is a wonderful picture of a Mother giraffe showing such tender love to her baby.
